Las Vegas Ambucs
The Las Vegas AMBUCS provides Amtryke therapeutic tricycles to children in southern Nevada who are unable to ride a traditional two-wheeled bicycle. We are a 100% volunteer chapter and are passionate about Inspiring Mobility & Independence through the joy of bike riding.
Upcoming Events
Help us raise $5,000 by midnight on Giving Tuesday (December 2nd) to gift 5 Amtryke therapeutic tricycles to deserving kids in southern Nevada.
The smiles on each child’s face shows the impact your gift makes on their lives. This is more than just a bike, it’s an opportunity to enjoy a childhood activity, a freedom that is not possible for many kids with special needs. One parent told us, “[She] basically screams with joy whenever she sees her bike. She is so thrilled that the bike is hers. We always wanted to get her a bike, but never imagined we could do it. Thanks for making all our dreams come true!”
This year we celebrate our 10th anniversary as a chapter, but are more excited to share that we gifted our 313th Amtryke earlier this month! Your support makes bike riding possible for children in our community. We are so thankful for all who have supported us in the past and are looking forward to another amazing year.
No donation is too small and every donation goes directly to purchase these custom trykes.

Amtrykes are provided through generous donations and grant funding. In light of the current economic situation, donations are more important than ever in raising the money necessary to purchase these custom tricycles.
Rider Spotlight
“Kendal basically screams with joy whenever she sees her bike before we go out for a ride. She is so thrilled that the bike is hers. We have always wanted to give her a bike but never imagined we could do it. We thought about having one built for her, but then we heard about your organization and are thrilled with it. Kendal absolutely loves the mask and cape too! She wears them all the time and feels like a superhero.” – Mom
Kendal has gained an understanding of safety, street signs, and their meaning by riding her Amtryke. When she sees a stop sign, she recognizes what this means, and is able to use the action of her feet to stop all by herself! We love seeing these bikes make a difference in the lives of these amazing children.
Updates on Amtryke Giveaways & Measurements
Although we recently received a large delivery of Amtrykes, there continues to be a national shortage on parts and materials resulting in longer than normal wait times. We invite children to get measured for the wishlist, but wait times may exceed one year due to delays that are out of our control.
